Serves 4-6
1 stick butter
1 ¼ cup sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk
2 pkg. frozen blackberries
Preheat oven to 350. Melt butter. Combine 1 cup sugar and flour in a mixing bowl, then add milk. Mix well. Pour in melted butter and stir until combined.
Butter/spray a baking dish, then add frozen blackberries. Pour batter over blackberries and distribute evenly. Sprinkle remaining ¼ sugar over the top of batter.
Bake at 350 for 50 min - 1 hour, until the top of the cobbler is golden brown and bubbly.
Serve warm topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
BONUS: Other assorted frozen fruits would work, but why ruin a good thing?
